Dear Colleagues,

With the beginning of February, we are pleased to announce new opportunities for involvement and engagement, including:

- Plan to attend our first ever RD Day, March 10, 2010 in Olympia.  Registration is now open - check this webpage for details!  We will be joined by ADA President, Jessie Pavlinac; House of Delegates Speaker, Ethan Bergman; and Board of Directors member, Pam Charney.  This one-day event is a great way to learn more about policy and to make our legislators aware of the role of Registered Dietitians in our state.  Please plan to join us.

- Consider attending a Public Policy Workshop session on Monday, March 22nd.  Complete details can be found here.

- And mark your calendar for the 2010 WSDA Convention.  We'll be at the Seattle Airport DoubleTree on April 25-27th.  The agenda and other details are posted here.  Let your vendors know about this great opportunity to showcase their products!  Registration will begin by late February.  We're offering a new opportunity this year, highlighting practice.  Check the website for details.

- National Nutrition Month is right around the corner.  Let us know your plans so that we can highlight them!

- House of Delegate information for the Spring 2010 meeting is posted here - our Delegate, Barbara Bruemmer, welcomes your suggestions!
