Presenter:  Janey Yoo is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian.  She is a graduate of Bastyr University's Nutrition Graduate Program and Tulane University's Dietetic Internship.  As a clinical dietitian at Children's Hospital of Louisiana, she provided nutrition care for the PICU, General Med floors and worked with GI, Endocrine, Heme/Onc departments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  Children's health is her passion which has lead her to training in Pediatric and Adolescent Weight Management through the American Dietetics Association.  Janey has also co-authored  a chapter in Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics.   “Lifestyle Approaches and Dietary Strategies to Lower LDL Cholesterol and Triglycerides and Raise HDL Cholesterol”.  Last year, she returned to Seattle and began her journey as a private dietitian at Green Lake Nutrition.  In private practice, she has gained the opportunity and time to know her families and truly support their path to better health.  In her personal life, she is a member of the nationally ranked Emerald City Mudhens Rugby team.  She also supports youth development rugby in the Pacific Northwest.  When not sprinting across the rugby pitch, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and his children, shopping at farmer markets, reading, eating chocolates, cooking with butter, and jumping into Lake Washington on hot days.
