WSDA - ADAF Award
Applications for the 2009 WSDA-ADAF educational award were accepted through December 1, 2009.
This award was established in 2008 to provide funding for professional educational enrichment for a dietitian or dietetic technician. Funds are available for dietetic professionals new to their careers, as well as those who are seasoned and wish to expand their knowledge and experiences.
Registration fees and travel expenses will be funded for short-term study, including workshops, seminars, symposia, conferences, and course work. Funding is limited to $2500 per qualified applicant and not more than to 75% of the combined registration fee and travel expense.
Preference is given to applicants who have served in dietetics related leadership positions, whether on the district, state or national level.
The WSDA/ADAF Fund has awarded four (4) educational grants!
